My favorite number is 43.  I like this number for a multitude of reasons:

1)  It is relatively high for a favorite number (most people usually pick single digit favorite numbers).

2)  I have always felt an affinity for the number 43.  It is 13 more than 30, 42 more than 1, and 39.86 more than pi.  Need I say more?
